Wine glasses

Our daily wine glassware has been Essence but I got a good deal on some Riedel stuff. I don't like the fancy stuff as they are more difficult to clean and it's better to have something you don't mind if they break.

It's so convenient when one can almost fit a full bottle into the glass! The only think more convenient would be drinking straight from the bottle.

Riedel glassware is very popular in the United States. I tend to use glassware that won't bother me if it breaks. The good stuff continues to gather dust.

must be a run on them...I got a pair from my daughter for Christmas....

I grew up in a house where magnificent dry red wine was made in the basement and served in on the rocks glasses.....thats my comfort zone...LOL

We have those as well but everyone refuses to drink anything but water from them :D

We want legs on the wine glasses! That's all we care about..

Straw straight from the bottle! That's more civilized that drinking straight from the bottle!

Just managed to break the first of the new glasses.. One party evening and we won't have any Riedels left ;-)

We had a party a while back. Well intentioned relative loaded up the dishwasher while we were in another room. The only survivors the next morning were the Riedel Os. The ones with legs all were toast.
