Fish and cheese?

We had our last meal in the hotel restuarant - Imàgo.
I started with the lightly breaded and fried scallops stuffed with mozzarella di bufala, followed by the veal loin.
I think the ground was shaking, but it tasted so good :)
 
by the way..they dont have or catch scallops over there..they came from here...the cheese was probably fresh though.... }:| :laugh: :p
 
I had the best spaghetti alle vongole I ever had the night before. Tiny, sweet clams that the dude said were local.
 
yeah they get great baby clams over there for sure....that is/was my favorite pasta dish to order over there
 
as far as cheese goes...try some ricotta salata ( it is not ricotta..despite the name )...wonderful sheeps milk cheese....hard to find here at home....

Maybe where you live but it's been here as long as I have- :up: Grate it over haomemade pasta
 
yeah I can and do get it when I go visit my Mom..or if I am in the North End...but thats about it
