Sweet. I can't find the microcode manuals. That was always fun (extended search list function was always interesting.) Yay! for UM (University of Michigan) for that one. It was a good start. Now, it's just cheap tricks.

That's an oldie! I did't save any 360 stuff. The oldest thing that I still have in my files is probably a System 370 Yellow Card.

Didn't the 1401 primarily do decimal arithmetic? Before everyone standardized on zeroes and ones? Learnt that stuff, although doing plug/cord patches was before my time.

I think I mentioned some time ago that we used to go over to a local utility company, as a favor, and help them with bugs with their 1401 emulation on a 360. I believe that averted a couple power outages around here. :cool: :p

I still have an old green card and the blue 360/67 one. Being the pack rat I am. BTW. Did I make a mistake tossing much of this stuff in the dumpster over the weekend? (I did keep one old Univac manual, being the sentimental fool I am. :blush:)

For the uninitiated, this was the foundation for all the iStuff. :eek:
