Snow? Hah!

We had a dusting here, on Christmas eve, after 2" inches that were wilting.

XMAS was solid rain here. Nothing but spring ground looking at us now.

Just called Dreamland Hotel on Bootjack Road in the the Keewenaw Peninsula (outside of Lake Linden) - nada, zip, zilch, zero - slight slush with no real base on trails. They are concerned about snowmobile season. Usually they are snowed in and busting for business.

Goofy weather patterns, Eh?

we got some snow coming in tonight and are supposed to get a good one later on this week

And we are all rain-let's hear it for NO SNOW.

Major parts of the country in snow havoc - we got nuttin' here. Duh?

My bro-in-law reported yesterday the 3" of snow at DFW as a XMAS greeting. Biggest snow there in 80 years. I offered to send a snow shovel down (as I do for Rosita.) He said - Nah, we'll mount it on the wall for a rememberance.

On the road to and from Basking Ridge NJ yesterday for about 6 hours as we attended a family gathering. The whole time I said over and over, Thank G** this isn't snow. A great time was had by all, but the drives sucked.
