How I got here is a long story, but I've spent much of the night listening to cassette tapes and youtube clips of the Texas Tornados and the Sir Dougl

I mean really. How can you go wrong with Tex-Mex music? The Sir Douglas Quintet was pretty special. My favorite is "She's About A Mover." As for the Tornados, talk about a Tex-Mex superstar band.

Nice choices, as always, Kevin.

JEK,

Sleep? Interesting concept. I might give it a try in a spare moment.

Thanks Kevin.

Just "scraped" it in. As I was viewing, Kathy walked by and said "What? Another oldies video?" I simply said - "You betcha."

Now, if I could only get all this recently updated software to convert it to wmv or mpg, like it used to...

Bob Dylan stated, "Look, for me right now there are three groups: Butterfield, The Byrds and the Sir Douglas Quintet."

From Youtube: Doug Sahm and the boys from episode 23 of Playboy After Dark. If you look closely, you will see Barbi Benton, Hef, and Sharon Tate dancing among others. A piece of history from the sixties.
