ignoring him until he agrees to an early seventies lineup Genesis reunion tour with Phil back on the drumkit.

I didn't know that reunion was being proposed. That would be unbelievable, huh? Even so, seeing Peter Gabriel live is as much a theatrical event as it is a musical event, much like his original Genesis performances.

You begin to realize your age when you've seen an artist in each of the last three decades.

there was alot of discussion prior to this latest tour to bringing in Steve Hackett and Peter Gabriel and doing a Lamb tour or 71-75 music. They even talked about Phil and Peter splitting vocals although Collins said he would be happy to drum and back Gabriel. Never materialized though. Most blamed Gabriel's reticence to re-live that era. Hopefully he will come around. In the meantime there is a band called the Musical Box that re-creates all the music from that era. They are endorsed by the band and are amazing. You can see some of their videos on YouTube.

I forgot to mention the Musical Box performs with some of the original Gabriel costumes loaned to them by Gabriel himself.
