I love Rick Bayless -- he seems like such a genuine, gracious guy with such enthusiasm for Mexican food. He talked about his dad (who owned a BBQ restaurant) who was a Pit Master and how he thought his dad would have gotten a real kick out of his son being named Top Chef Master -- very touching (but not over-the-top).
Of all the dishes he made, I'm dying to try the tuna and tamale in the mole. That looked incredible.
I noticed that Topolabampo is running Rick's 4-courses as a special meal for a month or two. Maybe you and your wife could give it a try!
