Woot! I knew they were making snow like crazy, but I didn't think they'd be able to open so soon. But they have had some consistently cold weather.

I'm excited they're opening, but I miss the days when A-Basin didn't make snow and there was actually some competition between them and Keystone.

if its any consolation, most of A Basins snow is natural....the don't need the guns much...they installed them as a hedge in case the weather patterns ever don't favor them one year.....

meanwhile........we don't even look close back here..but we re getting our first serious sustained cold weather this weekend...so hopefully they can start to fire up the guns and get us going by mid November...and of course a little of the natural stuff wouldn't hurt either
