I looked into this hotel as well and the general consensus is that it is a great value. Not super fancy but right on the beach and a lot cheaper than its neighbors.

This is WONDERFUL!!! I have stayed in the Cottages several times and can't imagine any better setting. Not fancy, but clean and intimate. Very close to several eating places, both fancy and simple. I like it because it IS simple {kitchenette, phones and TV in rooms}, which is what St. Barth is all about for me. Also very convenient to town, all of the best beaches and airport {some may consider that a drawback}. GO FOR IT!!
