We are thinking of next springs vacation and might, just might, not go to SBH but instead travel locally ( SBH does blow the budget a bit because I love staying at a very nice villa). We love the US National Parks and have been to Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Brice, Zion and Acadia. But I need weather in the 60s -70s to really enjoy hiking. Can anyone speak to another park, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, where the temps would be warm around April and where they have a very nice lodge and great hiking (lodge as in Ahwahnee and the nice one at Grand Canyon). Or would these places be better in Sept ( I won't travel to them in the summer because of the crowds and as our kids are all grown, we don't need to adhere to school vacations. Thanks
