I’ve been noticing a strange foamy white substance in the pond in St Jean the last couple of weeks; some days are worse than others.

Any idea what it is?

Perhaps related to runoff from storms couple weeks ago ???

That is my thinking too. Water running downhill bringing stuff from hills to the lower lands.

I think that there’s a flow of water into & out of the pond from the Bay, depending on need to sustain / not overload the pond’s ecosystem. To me, it looks like action related to inflow or outflow at a pipe in center of the pond.

Oui, And what has been explained to me. (BTW . . . looking forward to a soon return to my relaxing & scenic walks around the pond!)
