I only ask because in one of the treads mentioned above, someone else gave the exact same review.

While the restaurant is nicely appointed, we found it overly expensive, particularly the wines, the atmosphere pretentious with overbearing staff, and the food not exceptional for the price.

I don't think the concept of apporter sa propre bouteille & droit de bouchon is totally foreign in French culture, but I might imagine that, if permitted at all, it would be mostly limited to habitués (like A&P ) of an establishment.

I'd love to hear what response you get.

From what I've read so far, the only thing that interests my about Sella is the view, which hasn't changed.
