    What was the issue?

I only ask because in one of the treads mentioned above, someone else gave the exact same review.

While the restaurant is nicely appointed, we found it overly expensive, particularly the wines, the atmosphere pretentious with overbearing staff, and the food not exceptional for the price.

Here is the menu- mostly fish, 1 chicken main, 1 beef app, no other beef as I read it. I’m not a fan.

Having had a week to reflect & take a look at my credit card statement, i am officially awarding Sella with the title of most expensive restaurant in St Barth in the year 2023.

I don't think the concept of apporter sa propre bouteille & droit de bouchon is totally foreign in French culture, but I might imagine that, if permitted at all, it would be mostly limited to habitués (like A&P ) of an establishment.

I'd love to hear what response you get.

Made me curious to what I would find for corkage fees in my own backyard. Several are quite creative !

Patrick would surely waive your $35 fee. But no FM on the list

From what I've read so far, the only thing that interests my about Sella is the view, which hasn't changed.
