    Once Again To The Reef I

    Today 01/09/2023 is my 74th birthday. There is no place I'd rather celebrate a birthday than here on St. Barth. However, the ravages of osteoarthritis have taken their toll on me making it difficult to do the things I love to do. Steroid injections in both knees are keeping me going for now, but TKR surgery is just around the corner. I was able to make a single tank dive this morning at Le Pain de Sucre. The winds meant that we had to anchor on the leeward side of the rock, and visibility was not perfect. Nevertheless, it was a fun dive and I did enjoy taking some photos of the colorful inhabitants 60 feet down.

    WOW! So colorful…you take the best underwater pictures, Jim. Thanks for sharing and glad you were able do your dive. Good luck with your knee replacement, too.
