Not to be a wise guy…ALL OF THE ABOVE!

Plus the road construction, taking down poles as utilities go underground, and truck traffic and home construction activity.

Drats! we arrive in two weeks for two weeks. Last year the road opened up on the day of our departure. Just have to take the other scenic route!

The road is wider & very smooth, from Santa Fe Restaurant going toward Gustavia for 3/4 - 1 mile (or so) . . . first phase, as I understand the work (as Camaruche hill & drive along Grand Fond have been / are being done in phases).
