It has been a while since I posted this Thread. Our son is Executive Director of Reforest the Tropics which is sustainable and gives jobs to the local population.
 
Greg was up from his job yesterday. A lot of the sargassum comes from nutrients that flow into the ocean after logging takes place in Central America. He runs the nonprofit https//reforestthetropics.org/. It is financed by contributions.

Thanks Kent. Great experience! I also note that Greg was a Peace Corps volunteer -- I recently served as General Counsel for the Peace Corps.

Peace Corps . . . amazin’! I wonder if JFK, Sargent Shriver, & Harrison Wofford contemplated its existence & success 60+ years post-launch.
 
Yes!
Sen. Wofford lasted long enough to stay engaged for many years with AmeriCorps, f/k/a the Corporation for National & Community Service, where I also served as General Counsel. He lived a long and very interesting life.

It is a nonprofit organization. Hopefully people that can afford to visit St. Barts will contribute.
