A Walk To The Lighthouse in Gustavia

The lighthouse is a walk that we had not done in our years of visiting the island. We hiked up the road from town to the foot of the hill and then made our way up to the base of the structure. The views are stunning and the walk through the surrounding gardens is pleasant except for the uneven stone steps, which present a hazard to those of us long of tooth with balance issues and fear of falling. Nevertheless, it's a nice way to spend a few hours in Gustavia.

Jim, thanks for the pix along the way, could not have done this, so enjoyed reading about your trek, wondering where you parked ?

As an aside, hope the mods don't go after me, but related to your underwater excursions, my niece who I just saw in OCNJ, is certified in diving after living on Maui for a year & working remotely from there, had 1 of her dives on a Newsweek blog or ?
