Ferry service

Hello! Traveling with 2 little ones and we've been told by both airlines that there's a decent chance the car seats won't make it on our flight.....so switching directions and going with the ferry.

Voyager and Great Bay Express - which do you suggest? And which is closest/easiest commute to dock from SXM? We've booked GBE in past but its been a while and now that we have littles, we just want to be as straight to the point as possible.

What airlines told you this. American allows car seats, we just travelled with 2 of them on plane. Also Tradewind, if that is your airline to get to SBH, took our car seat a few years back and installed it for us. Someone else can chime in with Winair or SB Commuter experience...

I am assuming the poster means that SBC and Winair won’t take the car seats. Great Bay Ferry leaves from Philipsburg and Voyager leaves from Marigot. Phillipsburg is closer to SBH and Great Bay uses hydrofoils.
