100% agree -- found it a few years back at a local Pizza place of all places! But it's not something most bars know about or how to do.

Ever had a "Gordon's Cup"? Very different, but discovered that at a speakeasy in Long Beach a few years back :).

I think I’ve got the makings of this. Need to check the upstairs bar for the B&B.

Peychaud's Bitters are also a key ingredient in a Sazerac, my personal NOLA favorite. Yessir, Peychaud's Bitters, made right there in the Vieux Carre? Actually, Peychaud's Bitters are now made in-get ready-Frankfort KY

Let us know how it goes! I feel that unlike other similar drinks, the ratio of ingredients really matters and very slight variations change it a lot. And of course quality sweet vermouth is key in my view.

I’ll try that another time. Only one cocktail per evening. I’ve got the overnight shift on the forum tonight.

Surprised how little “B” is used.

tastes great, tho. Be nice later this week when some cold weather is scheduled.

Either way I really like it. A Manhattan with some French accents. A nice brown sipping drink for a cold night.
