It seems fitting around this holiday season to post about a wonderful, inspiring book. Perseverance, courage, faith, hope and the indomitable strength of the human spirit—-all captured in this historical novel based on a true story. Mark Sullivan, the author of many tales, perhaps the best known of which is “ Beneath a Scarlet Sky”, has done it again. I will re-read this book because it deserves to be savored and lingered over. You will not regret following my recommendation!
