I forget…was Amis for the regular menu or a gourmet dinner?

Good point of clarification, Amy. My “Amis” evening was not part of the Gourmet Festival. Here are some images of it.

The lovely, beautifully re-imagined dining room (with a very nice, not too loud, “soft rock” musical group entertaining):

. . . a typical table setting on the terrace adjacent to the dining room, overlooking Grand Cul de Sac bay:

. . . my first course of octopus, and a lovely white wine:

. . . and not least, a filet mignon that would make Phil sing! — the very best steak I’ve had on the island in many years (& wine “pairing”):

Dennis, the new dining room layout looks lovely and welcoming and the meal along with your descriptions and photos make it all divine.

I so wanted to peel and eat that lone garlic clove!

Having watched the breakdown of Sand Bar and Nikki beach in August many times, I would bet that glass thing gets stored away.
Eden rock even took down the ceiling fans.
before they were the fancy wicker ones
