Flamands Parking

What is the best way to legally park when visiting Flamands beach?

Several years ago the gendarmes were issuing parking citations to all
cars parked along the road, both visitors and residents. As I recall,
the residents were up in arms with some blaming their large hotel
neighbor for instigating the citation surge. Has anything changed?
Suggestions for parking?

After covid delays and postponements, we are again booked for our
return to paradise.

Both times we drove there we parked on one of the little side "streets" leading to the beach itself. It was offseason so maybe we were just lucky to get parking?

There is (or was) a small lot across from one of the access points not far past the CB. Not sure if it is still there. We have been parking along the road at the far end access for as long as we have been going and never got a ticket.

I agree. Always drive around the huge rock and park across the furthest walkway to the beach on the side of the road.

Get a lunch reservation at La Langouste and park in their parking lot.
