Great videos! Can you do one in slow motion?! We have a hummingbird feeder that sits outside of our family rooms’ bay window. There’s a small table below the feeder which is flanked by two Adirondack chairs. We get many hours of pleasure sitting there observing these beautiful little birds. They’re very aggressive too each another, not wanting to “share” their territory. I was enjoying a nice glass of Malbec late yesterday afternoon, and one of the hummingbirds was very interested in my wine! I literally extended my wine glass up and out to see how close he would get. He was within an inch or two of landing on my glass…it was fascinating! They are very used to us being in that spot and clearly are not afraid. Lastly, I would NOT have allowed the bird to actually sample my wine…that wouldn’t be right.
