Okay, so the three of us thought its september, why get rezzies? well here is why. We stopped by Joel Robuchon for an aperitif at 7:30, and we looked at the menu....they were only doing the prix fixe for dinner , no exceptions they said and the price was 120 euros per person. we said yikes, more than we had expected to spend, we asked if we could do one prix fixe and split it between the three of us ( we were joking).....the staff said that would be okay. but then we thought, lets just go somewhere else as its low season.
We walked down to Cantina....they were full, then we walked to 25 quarter, they were full and a 30 minute wait for a table.....we next went to le repaire, also full, finally l'oubie had one table left. it was so loud that we could not hear ourselves talk. the food was okay and price friendly, we stayed about an hour and then left. by the way select was full also.
it may be hurricane season, and low season, but still lots of tourists on the island. Joel Robuchon had only one table that was not occupied. We should of went to L'Esprit after looking at Dennis's post.
