Good friends of ours just departed on the restarting river cruises by AmaWaterWays they just reported that there only 56 passengers onboard, All vaccinated. Full capacity is 3X that. They are in the travel business and couldn’t stand staying home a minute longer. They call the trip : Forty Days and Forty Nights in Europe!

It’s great so far. 54 people on a ship for 158. The ship is almost brand new because it came out late 2019 and sat for 18 months. They say there are only 25% of the River boats operating so no crowds on the river or ports. Great time to be here. Masks are required in the ship but not when eating and 🍺 drinking.
