It will impact the entire Northeast, some more than others. At least I don 't have a boat in the water.

Chief Meteorologist of Accuweather says Henri is the most serious storm risk for New England since Bob in 1991- 30 years ago. And it will make landfall with a full moon meaning higher water at coasts- Stay safe especially those of you in the New England area!

We're making preparations here on Fire Island. I have to go to the mainland (Long Island) to move the car from bayside to higher ground. The collapsible flagpoles will come down soon. The surf is rough with high risk of rip tides. It will be an interesting weekend!

That would depend on your definition of mayhem. Those in the NY/NJ ares who experienced record rainfall might disagree, as might the 140K homes in CT and RI who lost power. Much of the Northeast still has to deal with the remnants of Henri, which will bring additional rain and flooding into Tuesday.

Still experiencing steady rain sometimes heavy downpours. Winds..not much here on the north shore of Long Island
