Our first two trips to the island we did it because we were staying at Isle De France and that is what they recommended. We did not know any better.
On both occasions the ‘red carpet’ was rolled out. Baggage, customs, no wait time anywhere in the process, greeters with smiles, beverages and snacks-all was perfect/effortless. They made sure our luggage was on board before departure. Upon landing in SBH- quickly thru customs, baggage and transport to hotel The experience was wonderful but at a price.
Since then it has been Win-Air- ugh! Then SBH when we could find a good connection in SXM. But then we changed to Tradewind and it has been perfect ever since. We have never missed SXM. :blush-smile:
