Island Labor/Housing shortages-

Everywhere we go in the U.S.stores and restaurants are closing multiple days a week and open for shorter daily hours due to lack of help. Also because of escalation in housing prices and rents, housing is more difficult.
We know it is normal for some restaurants and maybe hotels on the island to close for the low season ‘break.’
What is being observed in terms of adequate or not staffing and housing on the island, changing operating hours and days… if any? :thinking1:

There is a perpetual housing shortage on the island.

And a perpetual staffing problem. So many pizzas and so few pizzaiolos. Le News has openings for various food service workers in every edition.
