A very moving story about the Polish Jews that hid in the forests and fought German soldiers and kept themselves a vital working caring community through very bitter and dark days surviving in the wild. Poland had over 3 million Jews killed. The largest loss among the nations.

This book restores faith in mankind and God...though at times the story based on true experiences is often chilling and you figure it can't get worse!

Last year I read her story THE BOOK OF LOST NAMES...another winner. This newest book was written during the pandemic..amazing!

Sounds like a tough but good read!
