Almost six months of work and an investment of 700,000 euros were needed to improve access to the beach at Petite Anse.
The small, steep and chaotic path that led to Petite Anse beach is no more. Almost six months after the start of the work financed to the tune of 700,000 euros by the Collectivité, it is now on a brand new road that swimmers can access the site. However, it goes without saying that the improvements were obviously not limited to a simple repair of the access road.
Previously forced to back up the path to the main road, drivers of vehicles, mostly cars, can now descend to the beach entrance without having to worry about returning. Indeed, the site has parking spaces as well as a turning area in the lower part. "Thanks to the transfer of a piece of land by the owner of the villa at the back," explains the Community's communications department. In addition, a sidewalk allows walkers to access the beach in peace.
At the same time, the area was made safe by reinforcing the embankment and new networks were buried. But it is above all the effort in terms of landscaping that commands attention. An achievement carried out by the company Léon Jardin with the assistance of the Territorial Environment Agency. The latter participated by providing plants from their nursery.
(so apparently this wasn’t just a mess created by the new villa, the owners actually helped out)
