yes, that is what I have heard, so at least there will still be two gas stations on the island.

They may be talking about Yummy SBH, the vending machine location near the gas station. It's said to be open 24x7, and offer everything from salads and sandwiches to hot & cold drinks.

Not mentioned, but probably not. Unsupervised 24x7 alcohol sale is unlikely to be permitted, plus it has been a hangout spot for the island teens in the past.

I've seen 2-3 photos, but none where I can get a count of the number of pumps. There were 8 before, but considering the lines at certain times, more would be better. I solve the line problem by never letting the tank go below 1/2, and refueling at night when the station is closed.
I remember years ago when you were never sure if a gas station would be open.
