I read somewhere that French Polynesia is allowed to open for April 1st. Is that true?
If so, then why aren’t they allowing St Barth the same?

[h=6][FONT="]Papeete, February 15th, 2021[/FONT][/h][h=2][FONT="]Travel restrictions to French Polynesia[/FONT][/h][FONT="]Faced with the resurgence of COVID-19 cases around the world and in order to preserve French Polynesia which has for its part, shown significant improvement for several consecutive weeks, the authorities have decided to temporarily suspend travel to French Polynesia including for tourists from all origins until further notice.[/FONT]
[FONT="]As of Wednesday, February 3[SUP]rd[/SUP], travel is authorized only for travelers who can justify one of the compelling reasons (health, professional, family, return home) as described on the website of the High Commission. This measure is planned for an initial period of two months (March 31, 2021).[/FONT]

I don’t think so because people have to make plans- island help, tourists, etc. They can’t open on a dime- IMO
