Lots of people not wearing masks and not social distancing in the photographs! Do they enforce the mask rules on St. Barths?

Yes and no. Depends where you go. The restaurants that I go to are quite rigorous enforcers of mask rules for entry into them, departing, and moving away from the table (to use the bathroom, e.g.). Similarly, most commercial facilities -- grocery stores, etc.. At the gas station, for example, the inside clerk will not start your gas pump if you're not wearing a mask.

Outdoor walking . . . I would say that no more than 20% of the people I see walking on streets are wearing masks. The gathering this morning of people contributing to the "clean-up" was pretty shocking for disregard of the rules . . . and I'm surprised that the organizers weren't better enforcers.

In all the photographs which John posted, only 2-persons wearing a mask. No wonder the virus is spreading on St. Barths.
