If the photographs of the Gustavia clean up are any measure of following the mask and social distance rules, doubtful the Semi-Marathon "COVID-19: Don't Drop Your Guard" rules will be adhered.

Re: the "COVID-19: Don't Drop Your Guard" rules, it seems that they are officially disregarded in regard to organized sporting activities. For example, I cannot go into Le Stade to walk around the track (gates are locked), but doors are opened for "team" activities there. The Barracudas, for example, are allowed to practice and have had matches (players don't mask or "social distance," but spectators are made to sign-in at the gate, with name & telephone contact info . . . and masking / social distancing rules are applied in the stands).

we've been to Florida twice so far this winter. very little mask wearing. which is one of the reasons we go.
certainly none out of doors.
different strokes for different folks.
vive la différence!

Depends on where you are in Florida. County by county it differs. We have been in Palm Beach County for over a month. Mask mandate in all of the stores and high compliance. Outdoors people choose to wear a mask or not depending on your comfort level. Social distancing adhered to. Being able to swim everyday and walk is a big bonus to being here. And our beach is wide and thankfully without any large group of college kids. So can't stereotype that the whole state is not wearing masks. They are in our part of Florida and I wouldn't be here otherwise.

We are in Lee County now and everyone is following rules with regards to masks in stores and outdoor restaurants, we never dine inside...people are very courteous while outside walking by giving distance when passing...and we walk to find remote beach...
