An unexpected diversion from the Villa

A young colleague, very good friend from FL, & renowned surfer texted to me that I should drop everything & come to Pte. Milou, home of the extraordinary Hotel Christopher, to see SBH surf at its finest. The best vantage point seemed to be from a chair at the Hotel’s #MangoBar . . . with surfers (seemingly all more than half my age!) having a great day. Not wanting to leave this beautiful moment, I opt’d for a cool & light appetizer of Mahi cerviche, with a fresh fruit drink. Sharing the scene with you . . .

I enjoy watching the surfers at Le Chris. They are few in number, but are experienced. I also enjoy watching the younger surfers around the bay, off of the beach in Lorient. They all have skills that I never had.

Friend told us Friday there were forecasted decent swells and said he would be out with his board.
