I am totally enjoying this new book by Julia Kelly. It opens in winter with the arrival of a garden designer and restorer at an English manor being restored inside and outside.

The descriptions are fabulous and I am enjoying the characters and the friendly English setters.

A good read until spring when we can get our hands back into our garden soil.

It’s always so sad that forsythia lasts such a short time when cut.
