The first phase of the vaccination campaign against COVID-19 will begin on Thursday, January 21, 2021, it will affect health workers over 50 and nursing homes. It is organized by the hospital.
It will be followed, on January 28, 2021, by a second phase carried out at the Inèze Gumbs Medico-Social Center in Gustavia for the following people in order of priority (It is important to respect the list of priority people): - 75 years and over - Highly vulnerable people: with cancer and malignant haematological diseases during TTT, severe chronic kidney disease, transplanted solid organs, by allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, chronic poly-pathologies with 2 organ failure, certain rare diseases (COS list, eg: rare systemic autoimmune diseases under immunosuppressants), trisomy 21.

For logistical reasons, it is very important to be on time for your appointment and to warn if for some reason or another you cannot get there, a missed appointment can very quickly cause the loss of a dose of the vaccine, At the appointment, you will be asked to bring your health record (classic or international) and your vital card. Note, to carry out the vaccine against COVID-19, you must not have been vaccinated for any other reason in the 15 days preceding the first administration of the vaccine.
The appointment for the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine will be made automatically when you register for your first appointment and will take place approximately four weeks after the first dose. In view of government directives, the vaccination campaign against COVID-19 in France is currently only accessible to holders of a French vital card.
The Community and the health staff thank you for your cooperation and for monitoring the vaccination protocol. The Collectivity of Saint-Barthélemy

Does anyone know if foreigners can eventually get the covid shot in Saint Barth??

An excellent question! I’ve been wondering the same thing. Part of me says no as every country/territory/state/county/parish is fighting for their fair share. Another parts says for protection of the population, everyone living there should be vaccinated.

This question was asked of Bruno Magras last night at the St Barth International Property Owners Association Zoom meeting. The answer, at least for now, is no. There is a limited supply of vaccine currently available, and obviously residents take precedence. This might change down the road, but for now it's a no.

Thanks for the good info:)
Makes sense b u t now I am wondering if we foreigners [ living on the island for many months] could/should put our names on a list so they know how many of us are interested - once the shot is available.

Andy, that's for testing, not for vaccines. So far vaccines here are only for people over 75 or living at the old age home or has a serious illness and needs to be protected.
