Pizza Fermière

Been 18 months, so before the diet commences, we made our version of Pizza Fermière from Les Bannaniers - Crème Fraîche, Fromage Chèvre, Lardons et Miel... and a chilled rosé, bien sûr. Fermiere.jpg
 
Here's the barebones recipe we did for a dinner party a couple of years ago. Been a month, I recall the real thing is a bit richer. The following is pretty close though.

FERMIERE Pizza

Ingredients:

Pizza dough
Crème fraîche
Bacon (lardons)
Goat Cheese (chèvre). crumbled
Honey (miel)
Mozzarella

Place pizza stone in oven and heat to 500+ degrees

Cook bacon and crumble

Roll out dough (thin) and place on stone. Drizzle olive oil and perforate with a fork.

Cook for 3-5 min (until desired crispness). Remove from oven

Spread Crème fraiche and Italian seasoning
Goat cheese
Mozzarella
Bacon

Cook for 5 min more

Drizzle honey

Eat

One improvement:

Fire the Big Green Egg up to 700º and place pizza stone!
