La Samanna will reopen february 15,2021. I find this such good news!!!!!!! with changes in regulations on the french side, it has made it easier for this hotel to open this season after all, a little late, but thats okay.

The key to reopening is their ability to have guests from the US. Sint Maarten, Dutch-side, now allows travelers with a negative rt-PCR test taken within 120 hours, or a few specific antigen tests (BD Veritor Plus in the US) within 48 hours. Saint Martin, French-side, is still requiring a 72-hour PCR test , but a specific 48-hour Antigen test is allowed. I’m unclear on testing requirements during a guest’s stay, but I trust La Samanna to get it right,
