Re: A review sent to Hotel Le Barthélemy

    Andy,

It was in November and in March or April. Not high season, but in other places like Tamarin, Villa Marie, Meat and Potatoes, L'Esprit for some reason we didn't feel that challenge.

This is the latest about Sicily (2018). I didn't check their instagram feed though:

Thanks for keeping Scilly in mind. But yes,...

We ate at both the beachside bar and the restaurant there, always with the reservations, not at the breakfast time though. Our verdict is that the stuff in this comparatively pricey establishment is...

The counter is narrow too. You can see it from the pictures, it's right in the edge of the kitchen. But it is a very good vintage point to observe the magic of the awesome and creative cooking and...

I think that the said slowdown was for last two weeks only and somehow coincided with very hot weather (at least on the East Coast, not SBH, mind you) and graduation season.

Maybe not in the past, but now for probably 10 or more years Philly's suburbs are semiofficially defined as the 5 counties, 2 of which are on the NJ side of the river.

Re: Ode to the Zion (or the perfect parting dinner)

    Thank you Amy!

BTW., our return flight on SBC-AA via SXM was fine. Long lines but at least no wait in the waiting hall. I hope they will open the rest of the building in October as they plan to.

    Thank you guys!

Just note that at least for now the reservations for dinner is a must.
  18. Re: Victoria Opens - Used to be Buccaneer, etc. in Gustavia

We came there for both lunch and dinner on the same day. It is of course subjective but I think the lunch was better and more cheery. The food is great but it is on a cafe level, not restaurant.

Ode to the Zion (or the perfect parting dinner)
