  6. Re: Mid - December Visit with Medical Emergency Experience

Good, comprehensive insurance for sure way to go! Yes Hopital de Bruyn is totally adequate, fast and friendly for minor things, anything more serious requires a medi-vac to SXM, Guadeloupe or Miami....

Re: USBC Preclearance coming to SXM!

    Good points.
the way I see it, this would still be a huge win in that pre-clearance will be especially useful for those travellers connecting to other cities in the US and Canada as any checked...

  11. Re: Is the Winair connection at SXM as easy as the SBC connection?

I echo everyone elses feedback. Winair is totally fine!

I have used them equally from SXM, IMHO the airport and inflight experience is the same. The only differences (as everyone has said) is:
    -...
  12. Re: Is this squall of the positive articles helping or hurting?

most people would say any press is better than no press! This article is just recycling whats already been published.
  13. Re: Must be some pretty bad acting American tourists out there

sorry to hear your experiences. As many have said its best to just smile and move on. I do notice there are a some spots on the island that treat visitors less than locals, but I wouldn't take it...

  16. Re: Mid - December Visit with Medical Emergency Experience

Re: Vogue Magazine Article on St. Barth

all press is good press as they say, but true I wouldn't say this is an article on SBH, more an advertorial for Villa Marie therefore the article title is misleading. Just saying.
