    Question- are those cows maybe there as ‘pets’ maybe or for other purposes? The grazing there is sparse and often quite arid with all the volcanic rock.

    Renee Ballard is the protagonist and together with Bosch they work cold cases. The book as expected is well written and flows as only Connelly can do. If you enjoy Bosch, youll like The Night Fire....
