    Re: Dreaming and planning

As mentioned, Sante Fe will be your local restaurant. Just keep in mind that they close June 28. There are no bakeries up here, but Maison de Plant does sell croissants, breads, and a few pastries...

I think you may be a year too early, but I'll remain alert. BTW, nothing here.

You still need a negative Covid test that was taken within 72 hours of arrival. to enter both SXM and St Barth. All you need to enter a restaurant or shop is a mask.

There hasn't been a fashion show at CB since late November, but it seems like the restos will be open. Don't know about Villa Marie.

Toiny is also closed, but as far as I know, Cheval Blanc, Eden Rock, and Le Barth are still open. Also, Christopher and Langouste as well as Villa Marie and Manapany are also open.

    Re: Come on down!

I would, at the very least, have a copy of your rental agreement or a letter from the villa owner showing your dates of stay. Things are a bit cloudy regarding entry rules, but it seems that people...

When we got our shots they asked for our Medicare cards and made copies, but to my knowledge they can't bill medicare. I think it's just the proof of insurance that they refer to in the release.

It may be here already. I'm looking out our back window at what should be the sea but it is completely obscured by Sahara Sand and, in all probably, volcanic dust. I have been monitoring the...

I'm familiar with Nita, and it's very nice, but it is also up a pretty steep hill, and not an easy walk to the stores or bakeries. If you are a driver rather than a walker, it would be an excellent...

Re: Prescriptions for a longer stay

It should not be a problem. Just have your doctor write you a prescription for that and any other meds you might need. The pharmacies here will honor those scripts. Our doctors back home always give...
