I like Bonito. They have been good to us. They shouldn't ask for tips. Tacky.

Quite an accomplishment!
It's a clutch story.
Glad we can fly home from Zurich on Wednesday sans the Emed experience.
😀😀😀
Thanks, Dennis for the interesting additional information on Speyer. Thursday we docked in Strasbourg, France, a gem of a city in the Alsace region. The main attraction of the city is the "Minster,"...
Wednesday our ship docked in Mannheim, Germany. We went by motor coach to nearby Heidelberg, where the famous castle sits on the slopes of Mt. Konigstuhl 70 meters above the Neckar River. The castle,...
Tuesday we started our tour in Koblenz, where the Moselle joins the Rhine. Koblenz was heavily bombed during WWII, but several Romanesque churches survived and today they are the main attractions in...
Our Rhine River cruise, "Amsterdam And The Castles Of The Rhine" brought us Monday to the town of Cochem, Germany. Cochem is situated on the Moselle River, a tributary of the Rhine. Cochem probably...
Our ship visited Cologne on Sunday, June 5. Sunday was a religious holiday (Pentecost Sunday,) so we were not able to go inside the spectacular Gothic Cathedral, the twin spires of which dominate the...
Lovely restaurant...enjoy!
Thanks, John, no problema. I realized that the verticals would be a problem but some shots just require it. The four photos above are from our visit to the village of Edam, famous for Edam cheese....
We needed an SBH-Style good French food fix while in the Dutch capitol. After a little research we found a fine Brasserie with excellent food, wine, and service. Brasserie Ambassade, centrally...
"today the short flight from St. Maarten feels like a 15-minute trip to the French Riviera"...Indeed!
Love GCDS...we'll be back!
Nice report. Gouverneur is also my favorite beach, although I spend more time at Shell Beach since we stay in town. Sorry to read about the Tradewinds disappointment but glad they refunded the cost...

Tradewinds has just added flights for next year. We were able to book January flights yesterday.
"Nine people in the hospital from the race :o...sailing, eating and entertainment!"
...and it will probably go higher.
Gouverneur beach is a favorite of ours.
> Skipped but you might think about Black Ginger,Bananiers, Tropical, Repaire and Langouste.
Also Fouquet's and La Petit Plage both in Gustavia.
I miss some of the other web cams that are not working, e.g., Rade de Gustavia and Quai General De Gaulle, and the view from Fouquets.
> Main course was an outstanding roasted Monk fish filet in a watercress reduction sauce with asparagus.
Looks delicious!
SF to Honolulu 19 hours. WOW!
Text messages seem to be the way last minute flight communications are handled. Sorry about your weather-related difficulties.
WOW!
Wooden weights are interesting. I wonder if they have dumbbells.
Les Bananiers and La Langouste...and Amis at GCDS are ones that we never miss when on island.
We used EMed/Binax tests that we brought with us, and the Verifly app to return via SJU on Tradewinds. As others have said, you need to bring the tests with you and have a decent internet connection...
Lovely!
Interesting...didn't know that!
“For us, this is more of a compressed offshore race where you get to sleep in a nice villa every night instead of a hot bunk...you’re in the pool at a spectacular villa, overlooking the sea, with a...
