Jean Michel, of St Barts Windsurfing on St Jean, rents chairs 10 feet away from Tom Beach for 10e per chair and umbrella.
Best deal on the island if you ask me. Considering 10 feet away they are crowded and 5x the price.

Thanks Eve, we have been wanting to go to that end of the beach as we've never been there, may have to try that in the next few days.

Just take the path to the left of Tom Beach and the green chairs are to the left when you get on the beach. Go look for the white haired French man at the windsurfing booth past the Tom Beach chairs to pay, but he will eventually come over
