I was surprised to see this report. First, I am not a professional photographer as the report states. And I did not see any signs because there were no signs and I was in a permitted area. That changed later. And, no wind blew me over. I remember the sound of the wheel hitting me and thinking to myself for about 2 seconds - it hit me - as I crashed to the ground face first. No time for my life to flash before me because I was knocked out. I had stitches on my eye because the camera shattered as I fell AND at the top of my head from the wheel. The wind did not cause stitches to the top of my head. The ambulance took me to the hospital, so there was some injury. BUT, yes, I refused to stay overnight and walked down to Le Select. well they might, but they don't own the beach, a perennial discussion it seems. there is walking access to the beach via Anse Maréchal and I believe there was once a photo of that posted on this forum.
