Hello Forum, Are there any indoor/outdoor dining regulations such as here (NY)? I got optimistic about a 7 or 9 night trip to St Barths as our planned trip was cancelled last March, until I found out the island closed again earlier this month.. Also read section D of the St. Barthelemy Covid-19 Travel Regulations (Jan 19, 2021) and wonder how impractical it must be, or if it is enforced at all. I always wear a kn-95 mask to the supermarket or stores, so I definitely understand that rationale. Waiting until it's warmer has it's perks too..

Made our own long batch once. Made the mistake of taking someone's advice who said it didn't matter if cheap rum was used. Wrong! Now we make a short batch with an excellent rum and are very happy with the results! Andy's remains our all-time favorite---perhaps for old times sake---with La Gloriette's topping the charts today

We ate there when it first opened, our Villa owner was friends with the owners and gave us a gift certificate. We were treated very warmly. However, our meals were just horrible, not just horrible for St Barts, just plain bad. All four of us just pushed the food around on our plates and then asked for Doggy bags so as to not be impolite.

We transited through in January 2021; it is not laid out quite like this anymore due to ongoing construction. We always check a bag. It's no big deal. St. Barth Commuter has agents that help direct you through the system.

thanks, Dennis. there was a thread on this from a year ago, but reported experiences were all over the map. clear as mud. would engaging one of the airport concierge services make all the uncertainty and hassle and line-waiting disappear? madame cassidain would prefer to check a bag but she'll carry on if necessary.
