I think that there’s a flow of water into & out of the pond from the Bay, depending on need to sustain / not overload the pond’s ecosystem. To me, it looks like action related to inflow or outflow at a pipe in center of the pond.

We stayed at Les Ilets in November and are staying there in May. A few loops around town and you will find something. or sometimes we add 3-4 days at a hotel or villa in town, and do all of our Gustaviaing during that time

I always call to make sure. Sometimes the restaurant doesn’t answer Access or FB.

Aipotu, I just booked our half-day afternoon sail last week with Jicky Marine for our upcoming trip at end of April/early May. It’s from 1:00-4:30 pm and ran me €1,456. Included are beach towels, open bar (wine, beer, and rhum punch), snorkeling gear, and 2 crew members. There is also an additional fee of €10 per person passenger fee, and crew gratuity not included. They offer breakfast or lunch catered through Sin Garden in Gustavia and for our party of 5, it was about €60 p/p - also additional fee. There are several menus from which to choose. We love it and make such special memories with our now adult kids and spouses (their first trip was around 1998). They love this special island as much as we do; it’s in there blood! I will close by saying any of the fine sailing outfits...
