Chef & proprietor Eddy “earned his spurs” with Maya before taking over the kitchen at Le Grain de Sel. He’s a great guy . . . has developed a well deserved, loyal following . . . and offers a venue that has become a successor to my former “office” at La Gloriette. Not the same . . . but, still — affordable & very good food & drink, “chill” ambience, friendly staff, & comfortable vibe. My only caution is with respect to second hand cigarette smoke, which I dislike . . . so, if you share my feeling, be sure to position yourself near a fan.
