Mike R Reged: 05/26/03 Posts: 15733 Loc: Stinson Lake - New Hampshire unexpected powder day       03/19/08 03:37 PM Edit   Reply   Quote   woke up this morning to a forecast of snow turning to heavy rain as warm air aloft moves in....around noon I and just about every local started to get phone calls from friends who work on the mountain telling us to "get up here...it aint changing over".....plans were changed...shops put up the "be right back" sign up on their doors...and we all went....to experience the most amazing, and unexpected powder day of the spring so far......about 100 people on the mountain...most of the tourists are gone sweet............... -------------------- karma is a beautiful thing at times Post Extras
