I would like to spend a couple of days on Orient Beach before heading to St Barths. I want to make my connecting flight to St.Barth less rushed and also take advantage of the windsurfing conditions at Orient Beach. Any recommendations for lodging on this beach in June 2004?

You have not switched to kiteboarding yet? You know how they say: Windsurfing has been cancelled

Ron, Check out Le Hoste Hotel. It's on the beach, in the middle of all the action & reasonably priced. Eric

any luxury hotels right on beach besides La Samana-still trying to decide if want long walking interesting sights on late May vacaton or more lad back as on AXA or trying SBH or Antigua? I'd love to do parttime SXM, part AXA or SBH but husbnad hates having to move -wants to stay put entire time and relax, read, people watch, scuba & snorkle!
